In support of Dante’s Inferno, Visceral games has released an animated interpretation of the games story, which itself is an interpretation Dante Alighieri’s epic poem. This is the second time Visceral has supported a game with an alternative form of media, and the second time they have succeeded.

With only a week until the release of Dante’s Inferno, you’d think we’d have a few more details than that the general plot is based off a poem written over seven hundred years ago. But EA seems to be over-saturating the video game community with goodies and surprises instead of information about the game itself. Is this an attempt to build acclaim because they’re so sure they have a gem on their hands, or out of fear of a critical failure?
