Not many games combine the stylings of heavy metal music into their soundtrack, but Sega’s Iron Man 2: The Videogame is taking the plunge. The game’s soundtrack is set to feature an exclusive song by heavy metal giants Lamb of God.

Sega is apparently very excited about working with the two-time Grammy nominated band. “The music of Lamb of God definitely evokes the intensity of Iron Man action and we are very excited to have them working with us for the game,” said Sean Ratcliffe, Vice President of Marketing, SEGA of America. “This new track will add even more atmosphere to the cinematic gaming experience that Iron Man 2 brings to the table.”

The band too is apparently pretty excited about being featured in a game. “We knew we had something special and intense when we wrote this track and working with SEGA has been nothing short of incredible.” Chris Adler (Lamb of God drummer) said, “A few of us are real game and comic fans so the partnership with SEGA has been really exciting and we can’t wait to play the game and hear our music as Iron Man kicks ass.”
