Is EA Overcompensating For Dante’s Inferno’s Shortcomings?

With only a week until the release of Dante’s Inferno, you’d think we’d have a few more details than that the general plot is based off a poem written over seven hundred years ago. But EA seems to be over-saturating the video game community with goodies and surprises instead of information about the game itself. Is this an attempt to build acclaim because they’re so sure they have a gem on their hands, or out of fear of a critical failure?

Everything You Need To Know About: Dante’s Inferno

What: Dante’s Inferno is a third-person action/adventure game for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The game is very loosely based on Inferno, the first book of Dante Alighieri’s epic poem “The Divine Comedy“.
Who: Dante’s Inferno is being developed by Visceral Games, a studio of Electronic Arts. The company is most well known for the Dead Space series. Also, the story was written by Will Rokos, famous for also writing the film Monster’s Ball.
